The following tables are based on a table found on page 136 of the San Francisco Blue Book: The Fashionable Private Address Directory for 1904. It seems to be copied almost word for word from another chart found in The Post Almanac for the Year 1901. I have chosen to reproduce this one because it uses less confusing abbreviations. Note that this information is only relevant for the period.
